Carla is a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching Iyengar style yoga – an inclusive and nonjudgemental practice – for more than 20 years. During that time, she has studied yoga and meditation with renowned teachers, including Aadil Palkhivala, Rodney Yee, Shiva Rae, John Schumacher and David Life, and many Tibetan Buddhist teachers.

Carla is also a world traveler, and her light shines through with her ability to connect with others behind a smile that breaks down barriers!

In class, explore the art and science of letting go and experience gratitude and joy, all while enjoying the physical aspects of Iyengar yoga, including heart openers, hip openers, and strength and confidence building via standing poses and balance postures. Rosy Ramirez, RYT 200

Rosy started practicing prenatal yoga in 2010 with her first pregnancy. She has worked with pregnant people and their families since 2011 in different settings as a mental health counselor, doula, childbirth educator, and parenting educator. She decided to train as a yoga teacher in 2018 and then she got certified as a prenatal yoga teacher because she found that practicing yoga during her three pregnancies helped her so much during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
In between pregnancies she found herself practicing restorative yoga as part of her self care routine and recovery. She weaves her experience in mental health counseling, childbirth education, and being a mother into her work as a yoga teacher. She likes to support pregnant and new parents physically, mentally, and emotionally.
She likes to provide parents a mindful, supportive, and nourishing environment, creating a sacred space to connect to themselves, their babies, and the community. She encourages parents to prioritize self care in all forms as an essential part of their motherhood journey.
